questions

i have been asking myself a lot of them lately
like, what do i reeeeeally want to be when i grow up?
where should erk and i move to/should we move already?
how can i enjoy my job more?
why do i cry so frickin' much?

but rather than agonize over those questions, i've decided to answer the ones posted on rewindrevise's blog today

as part of a sort of chain....but without the pressure of any threats or promises being made if you do or don't participate.

-Answer 11 questions

-Create 11 new questions

here are the questions from rewind revise and my answers:

1. What do you say when someone sneezes and do you expect them to say thank you in return?
i say "salud" and i don't know if i expect anything, but i feel like i know they heard me/understood what i said if they say "thank you" in return

2. If you could invite any seven people to dinner (alive or dead, fictional or real) who would it be?
i don't know that i want these seven people all together - but maybe at seven separate dinners:
1. tina fey, because i think she and my sister could be friends
2. peggy, because i miss her
3. erk's dad, because i never met him, and he's my father in-law
4.  my maternal grandmother as a young woman
5. it's taken me too long to think of the 5th, 6th and 7th person for it to be meaningful...

3. Favorite fictional character from a book?
matilda

4. Favorite Fairy Tale?
cindarella, maybe because i like to clean, and the movie "pretty woman"

5. If you could say one thing to America, what would it be?
i would rather ask the rest of the country that question :)

6. How would you like to be remembered?
as someone who cared about other people

7. If you could have experienced another time period, which would you choose?
sometime before civilization

8. Desert island question - one food, one friend, one movie...who/what would you pick?
i would pick a food over a friend or a movie :)
just kidding, i know that wasn't the question....i could not choose one person (i like a lot of people! my husband, my family, my friends...) but i can definitely commit to pasta, and probably commit to when harry met sally

9. If you could pick only one mode of transportation for the rest of your life what would it be?
bike!

10. Name three places you need to go to before you die.
india, ireland, and somewhere in the states (alaska, portland oregon, montana, places i didn't get to on my road trip)
11. Tell me about a time when a teacher truly inspired you.
i hate teachers, unlike mitt

my questions:
1. what's something/someone that always makes you cry?
2. what's something/someone that always makes you laugh?
3. do you have any recurring dreams? what are they?
4. do you make your bed, or just leave it for the next time you get in?
5. what's the first thing you do when you get home?
6. how often do you wash your hair?
7. what's one thing on your bucket list?
8. what's something you wish you did every day but don't
9. how old were you when you learned to ride a bike (if you did)?
10. what's something you wish you were able to do (maybe used to be able to do)
11. if you won a million dollars - what would you do with it?
