in an effort to freeze time (and as inspiration from daleboca), i thought i would try and capture some of the funny things little m is saying these days. she is growing up so damn fast - i feel like from one day to the next she has transformed...

when talking about how a classmate's dad was heading to work i asked m "y dónde va tu papá? ("where does your dad go?" - answer being "to school")
m said: he goes to bed 

when watching her parents kiss with a little more passion than usual for public viewing in the car
m said, "guys!...."

holding her baby doll and a fake banana in the car on the way to school m whispered "eat the banana baby, good job!"

randomly pulling down her pants in the kitchen "i need to see my concha" (vagina)

when playing with her baby and stroller and purse m may exclaim that she "needs" one of the following things "my keys; my glasses; my bracelet; my boots; my collar (necklace)..." where does it all come from?!!

often: "you have a baby in your belly!" despite the fact that she started saying it before we confirmed to her that it was true, she has said it with equal certainty throughout the last three months. kids are so smart (and yes, i am pregnant - ta-da!)
