funny things

two months have gone by since i last wrote! i have been distracted, with little time to reflect deeply on a topic to write about.

BUT, i have been meaning to document some of the things that two-and-a-half-year-old m says but keep forgetting to. in an homage to 4321crazymamma.blogspot.com, (who might consider changing her blog name in a few weeks) i thought i would share some funny things here...if nothing else, to have a record of them.

while building with her BT friend maya, i asked m to invite maya to build a building with her. she did: "do you want to build with me? yeah or no? yeah or no? taaalk to meee! taaaaaalk to me!" with little space between words to let the poor girl answer...

when erk was carrying a mat downstairs that is not that heavy but big and awkward: "papa, that's heavy! do you need some help?"

while poking her finger through a hole in my shirt "maybe bubby can fix it for you?"

when handing me my prenatal vitamin at the dinner table: "just one, ok?" after i explain that i need to take two, "say, 'can i have a turn?' ok good job".

every day in the car a different part of her morning meeting routine spoken aloud to herself, here's one i remember:
"hello (insert classmate name here), you're my friend, and i like you, ok, put your fish up! good job! here's a stamp" (repeat)
