i was talking with tony yesterday who mentioned how she had been focusing on the idea of things being prismatic - one thing rotates and your lens shifts and you see new things - maybe are unable to see the old ones.

i had thought about a similar idea as i sat on top of bear mountain earlier that same day with the kids from hiking camp. i had been there almost exactly a year before. the same mountains looked very different this year (not only because different things were being framed). my feelings about them had changed.
