heavy


this is what half a ton looks like
for those of you that don't know (i didnt know until this morning) a ton is 2,000 lbs.  (i know because we drove it all to the dump and they weighed it)
these are the remains of what came out of the wall to install the doors we just put in. funny how i didnt notice it as much when it was part of the wall; but sorting all of it into buckets and milk crates made me appreciate its significance. it also made me appreciate what a mess something can be when it is not where it belongs.

a ton is the equivalent of 1000 kilos, thus 2206 pounds ( 1 pound= 454 gr) but there´s this thing ( some invention created to round up I guess)called short ton that is, in fact, 2000 pounds.
so my beloved camuli, you had a midget ton and not a real one.
great job, I´m impressed and envious !! lol
